Yet, in the face of adversity, their spirits remained unbroken, and their faith in Allah was unwavering.

The project to improve the living conditions at Taqwa Orphanage began in earnest. The first step came in the form of three new toilets, a necessity that many of us often take for granted. Funded by Sisters4Islam, the toilets were completed in September 2021, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the children.

Building a Better Future: But the support didn’t stop there. On August 22, 2023, construction began on the much-needed dome structure for the orphanage. Once again, the Be Kind Group stepped forward to fund this project, and the transformation continued. The children of Taqwa Orphanage were gifted with a new, safe space to call home—a dome that would provide shelter and comfort for years to come.

As the project progressed, the children received new double beds, mattresses, cabinets, and dining tables. An outdoor kitchen was also built to provide the children with the facilities they needed to prepare their meals. These changes were not just about physical improvements, but about restoring dignity and providing a sense of security and warmth for each child.
